FRod should go. Lyon has been productive, but should be traded. Unfortunately, the Astros really don't have guys to replace them with. Mickey Storey is the only reliever in OKC I'd even consider. Kevin Chapman and Jason Stoffel are options from CC.
Oh, by the way, Justin Maxwell's on the DL and could miss 4-6 weeks as his ankle is getting cleaned up. Scott Moore was called up today.
Scott Who? Never heard of this Scott Moore player before. I looked up his stats and do not see him as a major player in the Astros future. He bats in the low .200s with very little power and doesn't have high OBP.
Myers has been nails this year. Take away that one bad garbage time outing. 16/17 in saves, and a 1.77 ERA He would be an all star lock. So far this move has worked out great, might even be able to spin him for a solid prospect. Also good to see J.D. rejoin the living. One positive about sucking, you can stick with the youngsters.
Scott Moore is another one of those AAAA type guys that we picked up. He isn't supposed to be part of the future. Just another Travis Buck, Justin Ruggiano, Brian Bixler, etc. He has some pop to his bat (About the same as Chris Johnson).
I think happ would be great in the bullpen and I kinda like cedeno for the mean time. His 9 era game came against the rangers and in sandlots (CO and Chi-city). The others(wright,lopez,cruz) are fine. I just really don't like the guys I mentioned in my first post. I don't know much about call ups, but why can't springer make a cameo already? It would be exciting, even fill a couple or three seats more.
