I keep telling myself that it can't get worse.

    Then it does.

Unbelievable. He just struck out the side.

They'll probably pull him now cuz he's young and on a pitch count.

    8 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 9 K

He also hit a double and scored a run.

He outscored the Astros and matched them in total bases.

Excuse me. Latos hit 2 doubles and also has an RBI!

He doubled us in total bases while in the game on top of the 2-hitter.

The important thing is both teams played hard.

I have been saying this everyday for the last week.

Hopefully the Mariners (my other team) can save my summer.

My other team is the Indians.

    FML x 2.

At least they have plenty of young talent in their system.

farmstros Jordan Lyles Friday night: 6 IP, 6 hits, three ER, 2.83 ERA for the season.

I see Lyles as a good #2 or great #3 at this point.

i'm gonna go ahead and say i called it. Not that it's hard to predict the Astros to get shut down.. but of the 3 games, I picked Latos to dominate.

    8 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 9 K, 0 BB. That's some domination..

I outproduced the Astros offense tonight, and I did not play.

Counting down the days until Bosh and the Rockets get going  This Astros team makes the 05' Texans look very watchable.

I just hope they trade Oswalt, Berkman, Myers, Feliz, Blum, and Lindstrom and restock the farm system. Just tank the rest of the season so you have the chance to draft Rice third baseman Anthony Rendon.
