We all saw how we were suppose to have the hitting advantage vs AZ pitching. ;) :p

I heard on Charlie P's show today that the SP for the Pads tonight has a great ERA at home and a +11 ERA on the road so the Stros better hit him or I might just lose my FREAKING MIND.

What makes you think this will happen given our past 2 series against awful pitching staffs? (Haren being the exception)

Because otherwise it'd be too depressing?

Besides, we must be "due" to get some big hits with runners on.

I watched this Latos guy a few weeks ago, seems to have very good control, which isn't necessarily a bad thing considering we couldn't exactly walk less than we already do anyway

    True that.

    We swing freely and softly.

When they list the Astros defense, they should mention everybody else then say "and Carlos Lee is hanging out in LF."

1-2-3 for Bud but it takes 21 pitches. All 3 batters went to a full count, now let's see how quickly our guys go down swinging. Even if we score, I doubt we'll make Latos make 21 pitches

Pretty solid 1st for Buddy. He threw 21 pitches but sent em down in order.

Nice slider to punch out Gonzalez.

    I had it on mute.

Maybe somebody from the SD org. I think they do that time to time.

We couldn't even get the ball out of the infield.

    9 pitches for Latos.

    Too easy for Latos

This Latos guy got "great" stuff despite not so great numbers.

Is Whataburger also supporting Carlos Lee 3 times a day?

Cash can only save one of 2 consecutive Norris wild pitches.

I was about to say that Norris looked like he was hitting his spots early.

That was before the 2 pitches in the dirt and walking a guy after getting him into an 0-2 count.

Then he gives up a double steal.

Manzella with his 6th error of the young season. That may have been the worst one.

Need to keep it at 1-0. We can't expect the Stros to score 3.
