WTF, the Astros had offense for a game?

I noticed that. It was certainly vindication for the Astros scouts who said he'd never be a major league SS. He was horrid.

Not bad, not bad. We swept a series, w00t! :)

I like Berkman's mysterious "sprained wrist". Injuries to cover up the fact that you're sucking balls are always amusing.

Nice swwweep!!! Living in San Diego It'll make me feel better going into work tomorrow to talk to all the Padres/Lakers fans :)

Hopefully we can do the same thing to the Rockies and get back to .500!

Even if he is not hitting the ball right now he does not deserve to be questioned about his integrity.

    Jay Powell thinks Geary sucks.

I was at the game yesterday, the turn out was a lot bigger then I expected. Good times.

WTF are you talking about? Do you really think Lance Berkman is sitting out because he's in a slump? What makes you think he's this type of person? Don't attack the integrity of a person that you know nothing personally about.

His "mysterious sprained wrist" occurred in Thursday's game, so in no way is that being blamed for his offensive woes this year.

Where are you when everyone in the GARM believes that T-Mac deliberately fakes his injuries to cover up his sucking and decided to have season ending surgery just so the Rockets wouldn't trade him at the deadline?

Typically staying as far away from the GARM as possible. It's usually a bit more levelheaded in this part of the bbs...

About as much as you do. That's why I don't presume that he would pull something like this as he has never publicly given any indication to being this type of person.

Actually, my wife's best friend dated him in high school. So I do know a little more about him than you do...which is slightly more than nothing.

We can also put some--not blind, mind you, but some--credence into what is routinely said about him by teammates and coaches.

i guess i don't understand what the big deal is. i certainly would understand if berkman felt the need to take a few nights off and would understand if he didn't want to let the public know that's why he wasn't playing.
