Just got back from the game and it was a blast!! Well worth the 90 miles each way from Bryan to Downtown Houston. The place went nuts when Petitte hit that homer. I'll probably go back on Tuesday for Aggie Night
This is definitely starting to get exciting ... One thing though these teams on this homestand we honestly should sweep. They arent that good. Even the Pads as potential division winner are largely weak. Overall, good start to homestand. We need to take care of business. Run the table on this homestand and then, go after the Reds coming out to start the subsequent road trip. Formula is simple. We continue to get quality pitching starts and continue with improved timely hitting, hey why not no one else in this WC race or for that matter in this division is playing with a killer instinct. So lets take it ! Lets take the division !
im watching espn and this is the 2nd time ive heard them mention we play the reds in a 3 game set starting this monday. I guess they got their weeks messed up, we don't play them til the following monday on the 21st. i wish they would correct themselves.
Right on cue, the Stros are getting this city to embrace them again for another stretch run. These guys are unbelievable when they are up against. As difficult is it can be to watch at times, this is the time of year that really shows you being a Stros fan is all about. 1.5 game out, lets do this shizz boyss!
