This is the most points we've given up since losing to the Colts 43-24 in 2006. The most points we've ever given up was 49 to Indy in 2004. Amazing that after last year and the early part of this year that this defense can look this bad. Wade's defenses typically slip in their 2nd year but this is pathetic.
Honestly, I ain't mad. Wade gambled bringing 8 in the box, Rodgers made him pay. Wade will have to adapt better in scheming the D without Cushing.
Well, we knew the Texans wouldn't go undefeated. Maybe this total ass kicking will keep this team hungry. We got whipped in every phase of the game. Time to look in the mirror. Hopefully we can exercise the Baltimore demons next week. Sidenote: Barwin better hope he can turn it on or there may not be a significant contract offer.
Personally, I like Belichick's and McCarthy's foot-to-throat coaching philosophy better, but I've come to accept that Kubiak will never change. I used to think that Kubiak's overall conservative philosophy would prevent the Texans from ever winning the Superbowl...I'm on the fence on that now, but I still don't like it.
By us or anyone else. Aside from the tipped pass he got tonight, he has been a complete non-factor this season. Certainly not a guy worth franchising which had been discussed before the season.
Good points. The 49ers got rolled today too and they're one of the best teams in football. Disappointing, but it happens. Maybe it will be a blessing in disguise.
