Well that acknowledgement should automatically always be there. Anyone can sweep anyone. I was pretty certain we were gonna get taken behind the wood shed. Hopefully we don’t **** it all up by losing to the rockies.
Just saw the scoreboard. Hell yeah!!! And the Mariners lost another close game. Things are starting to even out.
Astros have an 83 run differential advantage over the Rays. Quite significant (+21 vs -62). Both teams sport a 38-40 record. Too bad Kevin Cash isn't our manager. We would be 6 games ahead of Seattle rather than behind them.
Same. Probably Abreu PTSD. I'll take Crochet or Fedde though. You have to be mentally tough to pitch great for .200 win teams.
The White Sox want young MLB talent or close to MLB ready talent. In a Robert trade it is all but guaranteed that one or two outfielders in Houston or Sugar Land would go to Chicago. However, “if” they get Robert, having a viable 4th-5th outfielder is a requirement based on his injury history. So I don’t think they will empty the system of viable outfielders. The appeal of Robert is his contract and the team’s overall upside is a lot higher with Alvarez, Robert and Tucker as your possible playoff outfield.
They actually have talked to teams about moving him. He has less control left than what the White Sox would like. He also has had some arm issues in the past. I know we have injuries and will need another starter most likely - but I am fairly high on the Astros starting pitching beyond this season, even with Verlander close to retirement and Valdez close to free agency.
