Dubon being a decent everyday player (wherever he plays) has also been one of the unsung developments this year. If they’re not going to ever play one of the catchers or Joey at 1B… he’s gotta get those starts. Singleton can still be a useful piece off the bench or when Dubon needs to give Pena/Altuve a breather.
And the fun continues. Like it when we get timely hitting. Got the run back and another just in case.
What are the offensive numbers since Tucker went on the IL? I know schedule got a little easier and some guys weren’t going to suck forever… but the timing has been more than welcome. And the numbers could suggest they’ve actually been “better”… or more consistent (and that doesn’t mean they’re “better” without him… just credit should be given to the others filling in and the, gasp, hitting coaches?)
And maybe platoon him and Loperfido at first once Tucker gets back. Loperfido must be a nearly everyday player. McCormick appears to be back so he'll see a lot of LF.
Good start Framber. Him and Blanco making the best offense in baseball look pedestrian is nothing to scoff at.
Not to mention he was still favoring it as of last week. Can’t run without discomfort, can’t really expected to do much at there (unless you’re Kirk Gibson).
