What does Chas have to do with big jon? unless you’re just saying that I must always be wrong because of yesterday. just wondering if Jon is getting DFA’d
Throw caution to the wind and get 92 wins. Abreu is finally in his rightful place. Injuries are the only thing stopping the dynasty.
I thought you specifically called out Chas and said not playing Jon instead was a mistake? Maybe it was multiple unrelated comments and I’m getting it mixed up though. This team clearly doesn’t trust Loperfido at 1B so he isn’t getting DFA’d unless they make a move for a 1B at the deadline.
Not much wrong with Dubon basically being the full time 1B for now. Loperfido is the better defensive OF. Most would rather have Loperfido/Dubon’s bats in the lineup over any version of Singleton/XXXX
No I was wrong about Chas doing nothing against Burnes. I did note that Singleton wasn’t starting against a RHP, which I thought was kinda his job now. Today another RHP and still no Jon in the lineup. I think that says a lot. Maybe not though.
That and bad decisions by a rookie manager who has yet to show the ability to learn from his mistakes.
Burnes has severe splits against lefties vs righties…. Hence why most lefties were on the bench yesterday (minus Yordan and Joey).
And there is still today. Another RHP and Jon on the bench. His last game he did pretty well too. I think maybe the Singleton experiment is coming to a close. I was hoping for something different but at some point he needed to start hitting for extra bases.
A few other players likely to be sent down when Tucker returns before Singleton gets DFA'd. He's a good placeholder... and someone that will be better than the free swingers off the bench.
You could make an argument that good Framer is right up there with Blanco. Bad Framer definitely is not. He needs to be throwing batting practice.
Besides the Astros... the Orioles, Rays, and Yankees are the only AL teams Framber wasn't won against -- all AL East. He is 0-0 in 3 starts vs Baltimore.
I’ve become sort of quasi occasional texting friends with Kyle over the last 9 months. He could not be a nicer human being. His mom and dad are awesome people too. He knows all about Weiland Island and has a good sense of humor about that and his big league career. He sent me a jersey game worn signed as a present. One of the coolest things anyone has ever done for me.
