    This is what I don’t understand about Dusty/Management ….

    He’s been below average ALL season. There’s about a month and 5 days of baseball left. Do you really think Yuli is gonna magically turn it around and start slugging?

    Time to face reality.

    I would feel a little better if Scherzer and Degrom were the ones shutting us down this series. Instead we have Rudy Stein and the gang doing it.

    Abreu is striking out batters at a dominating rate of 12.84 per 9 innings.

    Until he shows otherwise, he needs to only come in medium to high leverage situations.

    Those are the situations he’s been awful in.

    Its mental with him… the stuff is great. Doesn’t mean he won’t get there eventually, but it won’t necessarily be this season.
