    Not the ending I had hoped for. Alvarez and Bregman at least created some drama. Mancini was swinging for the fences to no avail.

    The Orioles swept us in houston last year. 2 of those games were blowouts. They are comfy here. This year, this is not a team to come out flat against. I hope we rebound and take the next 2.

    Correct. If they score zero runs in the playoffs they will not win. Good thing that doesn't happen a lot for the team with the best record in the AL.

    You know I have been thinking the same thing. I just don't see it now, but what a season in either case. Baseball is such a game of streaks. You never know.

    Can't win games where you don't score

    Better to play poorly against subpar staters vs good ones once the playoffs roll because there aren't many subpar
    in the postseason. Plus we've done well enough in said scenario during the regular season.... far well enough

    Our pitching was great tonight and Stros are still AL favorites

    Lance's ERA dropped and no injuries. At least there's that
