Dusty Baker, ladies and gentlemen. Send this gascan POS Bielak down and replace him with a rodeo clown for all I care. Infuriating.

Dusty should of pulled Bielak after he gave up the hr but no. Hope he will be gone after this year.

There was literally nobody left in the bullpen, other than Garza, as far as I know.

Now how that situation happened is a different story.

Dusty said he didn’t want to use his only good available reliever in the 9th against the top of their order in a tie game bc he wanted to save him for a save situation. Lmao.

You don’t think Raley is good? He’s easily been the second best reliever all year.

    Wasn't "available" the operative word?

I thought he was ruled out before the game with the handful of others?

OK then, I did not know, I assumed he was out with the rest...that's egregiously bad.

I just don't know, I just don't know how to justify some of the things that the manager does anymore.

I have always hated b****ing at managers after the fact, because usually there's a reason that we don't know about for the "why".

There is no reason or why with Dusty, he is a straight up terrible in-game tactician. I get why he was hired, but that reason has run its course.

A save situation at home in extras when you are the home team?

Weeeeelllll....I may have been a little hasty on Dusty tonight, still not sure yet.

So he pulls ZG, which needed to happen.

So he puts in a middle guy - Scrubb. Could Scrubb not go a 2nd inning? I do not know, but that would have changed things.

Then Taylor, he did his IP of soft contact and walks, gives up run

Then ****ing Bielak is who he has at that point...

When do you pull Bielak? After his first clean inning? You could, if you had an actual pitcher in the pen to pitch that inning, but you don't. So you send him back out, and he ****s up the 9th inning: immediate single/HR, so you're down 2 in the 9th...This is where it's acceptable to call for Raley, I think. He's either gonna get out of the inning with no more damage, or this game is out of control. Either way...?

Good point, I wasn't paying attention that closely. But if that is the case, then I blame James Click. There is no reason whatsoever that this baseball team should ever have a guy like Brandon freaking Bielak out there trying to get crucial outs. He's approaching Biagini territory for me, but he's less annoying because to my knowledge he doesn't crack shitty jokes.

We need to get back to our boring winning ways.

Not even mad. After a long winning streak, teams go through a few games of bad to mediocre play. I just want Carlos' knees to be feeling sexy.
No way he is in the line up today or tomorrow. 4-4 tie, Bielak gives you his best effort and you f' it up by wanting him to run it back another inning. It's just insane to me. Cash your chips at the window and call it a day after that one inning. I'm sure it will happen again though.

Who was ready to go in?

And I guarantee you if that guy gave it up, everybody would be complaining that he took Bielak out after only 1 easy inning where he only threw 12 pitches. (By no means am I a Bielak fan, but it was simply a situation of no real viable options without overextending somebody).

The main issue is that he only has 2.5 reliable bullpen arms that aren’t former starters (Pressly, Stanek, Raley) and two of those guys were used back to back days.
