    I'm sitting here thinking, "Well, it's too bad Cole's not going to get the win with those 14 Ks. He did exactly what the team needed tonight."

    Then it dawns on me that the Astros haven't even secured the lead in the bottom of the 8th, so a win for the team isn't even guaranteed. And extra innings are a real possibility today...after yesterday. Please, no.

    On a serious note, I got a strong positive impression of him when he was first called up last year. He's very positive, always happy, and grateful, unlike the guy he replaced during that call up (Giles).

    Sadly his 4-4 between the end of yesterday's marathon and today's first AB probably extended his stay a little longer. He's just not good enough for our team and is taking space on the roster.
