Man, Brantley really expanded his strike zone a couple of times there. Nice job by Yuli, better job by the ****stick in RF. Fisher best have been on his horse heading to the plate, never saw a replay of him. They counted the run though.

I'll also add that the yokels at MMP started the wave 2 pitches before Nunez hit the HR.

They sell them at Minute Maid park. I think I’ve seen Tyler White there so they must have literally everyone on the roster Lol.

I wonder if the White ones are made of lead.

Anyone hear about Mitch Haniger of the Mariners? Fouled a ball off his groin and ruptured a testicle I would post video but just the idea has me nauseous.

Brantley's been mentally off a bit. I'm sure he was pissed because of the FC, and then he let that turn into a DP on the bases. And he probably hit into the FC because he's been off at the plate.

I bet he could've pulled off a safety squeeze and have had a decent chance at being safe at first.

Yeah, it was mentioned towards the end of the Mariners thread which is why I didn't post anything. But, yeah, that sucks. I guess cups aren't 100% effective.

Why did we pull Framber there? The bullpen is taxed anyway, just ride him until his pitch count is up

Hey, now. No matter how much any of us dislike and/or make fun of White, he doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same context as the chemical weapon known as cake fondant.

It has nothing to do with hindsight here. If we wanted to save the bullpen, we had an opportunity to do so. Valdez was rolling and hadn't thrown that many pitches.
