I meant if Kemp gave up an out, they then have the option to pitch to Springer more carefully with first base open... and you still ended up with 1st/2nd and Altuve at the plate despite NOT bunting. I said it may change slightly... but given what Kemp has shown thus far, and given what actually did happen in reality, everything probably holds true to what the percentages say. This wasn't some mandate from up on high by the nerd cave... mostly every team plays that situation exactly like it played out.
Gregerson threw almost 30 pitches last night, correct? Lets give him a night of... why not. Hinch could/should dial up Giles-Feliz-Harris.
2 orioles batters have swung fully and were called check swings but they ring up marwin. haterz gonna hate.
Curious to watch this Giles-Gattis battery... Castro seemed to be getting into a good rhythm and sensing when Giles was leaving pitches in undesired locations.
Can't tell if its Feliz or Harris warming up. Please be Feliz... Harris for the 9th... Gregerson doesn't need to be burdened with another 1 run blown save.
Yep. Its even surprising when he gives up a single. Its quite possible that Gregerson has the 4th best stuff in the bullpen right now... yet he's the defacto closer because automatic managing is best. Its almost the anti-analytic approach.
