I would think that White is the next man up. But Yuli's back soon, so the question is moot. eta: yeah the souvenirs are great, but I wish yall would talk about the actual ****ing game that is happening right in front of you.
In case you missed it, @conquistador#11, this is how it started: I love the looks on those kids' faces. "He said it was a kid, not a man." I'm guessing Bryce Harper is next?
Runner was safe anyway, run would have scored regardless. ETA: did you see how far off the bag Marwin was when he made that turn? He was in shallow LF.
I hope so. He's been a mixed bag so far at the plate but he's getting plenty of opportunities early on.
Run would not have scored? He scored from 2nd on a fielder's choice / error. JD has played himself out of a spot on a championship roster
Unlike the other pitchers in the starting rotation, Keuchel has to nibble and if he's not getting strike calls, he can really struggle.
You're right. I thought he was on 3rd and the double play would have ended the inning. Davis has made several good plays at 1B, that one was a sh!tjob, but thankfully Yuli will be back soon.
No reason to jack around with minor leaguers for a week. Davis down, The Yuli returns. I could also be completely wrong and they bring up Reed/White manana.
It's just a week from this Friday. Normally, we won't see many lineups this season featuring Davis, Marisnick, Stassi, Fisher, and no Correa. No need to make any moves for what amounts to 6 games. It's not like our pitching situation necessitates us scoring 8 runs a game either. It also helps that we're coming into today 5-1. The victories in April count the same as the ones in September...
