Because camby will miss at least half of next season with recurring injuries. He'd like 85 years old remember.

Forget about the Pacers? Hell, the sixers and Nets will be better as well.

It is likely that Asik and Donuts will be on the floor together. That is if Howard is somewhere else.

Yeah, Asik is going to look great here and we will be able to turn him into one of the premier perimeter players in the NBA.

Woah. Totally disagree. The Pacers are not going to be better than the Knicks. The Knicks beat the pacers this year twice in there 3 match ups I believe. And the Knicks this year are going to be a much better team than they were last year. Neither will the Sixers. Even the Nets I disagree with. Likely it will be Heat, Celtics, Knicks as the top 3 teams. The Pacers or Nets just below.

The Nets are for sure better than the Knicks.

    D. Will
    J. Johnson
    G Wall
    K-hump
    Lopez

Brooks off the bench for instant offense.

Tyson Chandler with lower FG% i.e. a center who can anchor your defense for 30+ minutes a game while scoring on putbacks and opportunities created by others.

Alright. I am a big Tyson/Camby fan and I remember watching Kidd tear things up in his prime. So I think the Knicks can do some damage this year. I hate the heat so any team that beats them in the east to be honest is fine by me. I think it will be the Knicks can be that team. So yup I take your bet. :) Anyway off topic.

    Realistically?

    Probably about a 11/12 pick.

Your probably right, I think when we sign Asik that we are already better than last year considering the injuries.

    Brookyln, Chicago, Indiana, arguably Milwaukee.

    • Brooklyn's got a good core of guys and some youth with Marshon and Brook Lopez. not to mention, a top 3 PG, and an all-star in Joe Johnson. Gerald Wallace is also a productive piece of that team.
    • Chicago, with a healthy Rose, are an elite team. Without Rose they may not be elite, but they're still a good team. they have signed Hinrich, so if Rose gets injured, they'll have a proven PG in the backcourt.
    • Indiana, Paul George, Collison, Granger, Hibbert, West. do i need to say more?
    • Bucks, talented backcourt, Jennings will have a breakout season. Henson and Harris will have productive rookie campaigns.

next year, the Knicks will struggle to make the playoffs, 6-8 seed. Melo and Amare are their best players, but they surely don't play like it. Melo's numbers went down last season, and i won't be surprised if they continue to decline this season. Amare is not the Amare he used to be, his numbers will decline too. unless there's another "Chink in the armor" who's coming to save NYK, they'll struggle next year.

and for their sake, i hope the Wizards and the Raptors don't play better this season, even though they probably will.
