And when Schaub was "good" he was also above average. Pretty sure most here will not accept "above average" as the standard, given that even when Schaub was at his best, people were clamoring for a more "elite" QB. But, you are correct... there are very few truly "elite" QB's in the league at any given time... not even sure that Manning is one of them anymore.
LMAO... predictably, ready to quit when you have no rebuttal for your crap statements. I can stand by everything I say because I man enough to admit when I'm wrong (which is rare). You on the other hand, pick and choose what you can remember... similar to a female. I could easily pull up the Cowboy game thread from last season and show everyone what you said about Romo. But I already know sometimes you get so caught up in the moment that you'll spew some crap you yourself don't even believe. I said the exact same thing in that thread after you congured that emotional garbage.
The difference between Schaub and Flacco is the ability to be clutch. Flacco balled in the playoffs, Schaub could barely perform in primetime regular season games.
I think if we took a poll of the Texans fans, we would probably categorize you as the "bad fan". Just saying
Are you serious? Go look at Barnwells analysis on playoff performance to see how good Flacco has been in the playoffs. Sorry, I will take his or Eli's "lucky" playoff runs to Super Bowls everyday of the week. Outside of their lucky runs, it's been elite QBS getting teams to the SuperBowl and winning them. Just admit you know nothing about football and only get you knowledge from listening to 610, it's ok to be a homer. If you can't read that Mallet becoming Flacco 2.0 isn't a good thing for this team in the absence of a truly every Sunday game changer at QB, then I can't help you there.
That means literally nothing. Get enough dumb people together, you can get them to agree on something stupid. From what I've seen, the average Texans fan, and NFL fan in general is a slack jawed mouth breather that only loosely understands the game.....no one should really care what they think about anything. How many average Texans fans thought Vince Young would be a great idea? Listen to callers from literally any radio show and you'll realize how pathetic the every day fan really is. It's a much smaller segment of the Texans, and NFL fanbase as a whole that has any clue what's actually going on when they watch the game. Approval of the masses almost certainly means you're wrong.
How many times have you been slapped in the mouth while watching a sporting event? You may be right about a few things football related, but my god are you a pompous self-righteous douchebag. You are never going to convince anybody on this board that you are "great" going about it this way. Just give it a rest already.
LOL Man why do you always have to fire off shots at people. Everybody has their on views when it comes to talking about football in general. All because you might not agree with what they said doesn't mean you're a better fan than them or more knowledgeable than them. And you do know the mass majority around here doesn't agree with a lot of the stuff you posted on here as well. So does that mean you are a part of that fan base that you claim doesn't have a clue? Come on brother chill out with all that talking folks down and stuff.
http://www.scout.com/nfl/texans/story/1551189-texans-otas-wilfork-mallett-cushing-and-more I know this old news but I especially like the Mallett part. Heres to hoping Mallett surprises all the naysayers.

Easily the shortest offseason since the Texans have been here IMO. Especially with Hard Knocks down the road. I'm not hankering for football at all yet. First time that's happened in... ever.
The rockets deep playoff run and the Astros being watchable again makes this offseason very swift and smoove. Last few years have been brutal.
Yep. Seamless almost. Before you know it... Preseason Game 1 then Rockets Training Camp in September. October.. Astros Playoffs? and Rockets opener. Houston sports picking up.
