Would you trade a draft pick or several draft picks for Dee Milliner? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...jets-received-trade-inquiries-on-dee-milliner
Not sure if it's significant, but that's a lot of offensive players, specifically WR & RB, but not guys for the most part that I'd expect to go early. WR, TE, RB in middle rounds would be fantastic, focus on defense early. Crowder's my guy. Upgrade from Martin.

I think AJ is going to turn out to be a stud. The young man was really good last year. He's a much better player than K-Jax was at that stage.
Yeah, you get an incision like that at a joint and it makes it look like the limb was severed and reattached.
but he wasn't drafted so it doesn't count! agree, that he will be a nice player. great locating the ball and playing the ball with good recovering speed. needs to work on the pressing.

Gotcha. Well, that could be an added bonus of Wilfork signing here. If he takes Nix under his wing and manages to get his mind right, Coach Wilfork will be every bit as valuable as aging former all pro NT Wilfork will be for us.
B'ob sure knows his d lineman. Quickly establishing himself as an expert in the draft and free agency when it comes to fidning that dline talent.
To be fair. . . he probably had better coaching than K-Jax had at that stage As soon as Wade came. . . K Jax seemed to make dramatic improvement. Rocket River
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2395052-profiling-every-gm-ahead-of-the-2015-nfl-draft/page/14 Oh Dear Lord, I cannot believe Russell Baxter just Called Jacoby Jones a hit for GM Rick Smith on BR. Just emphasizes how much effort and research they actually put into their articles. But then again, It's not like most sports writers actually do put forth effort when it's about the Texans.
It's the offseason, can't hurto have a little optimism. You can't evaluate a draft until after year 3 and they likely will draft some competition anyway for Nix and/or bring in some additional veterans on the cheap. Unlike the Reed signing, Wilfork just has to be able to play on gamedays and help make sure the run defense is not a sieve. Where as Reed was exposed on the majority of plays due to his position, all the Texans need from Wilfork is to help anchor the line in close and late situations when a stop is needed and take up blockers to free a hopefully recovered Cushing and whoever else we have at MLB. Wilfork won't be an everydown player and while he is likely to be overpaid in terms of on-field production, I think he will have a far greater impact on the Texans as a whole and less likely to be a locker room downer if the season doesn't go as well as hoped.
Could the Texans still draft a NT? Shelton or M. Brown would really bolster the depth at NT. If not, I'm inclined to take a top Reciever in a deep class, Jaelen Strong!
