He's a rookie. Let him take some big hits and then see where he is at. David Carr once looked supremely confident and "ballsy" as well...
He tweeted this 30 minutes ago. What a douchebag. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>I don't want to see Kirk Cousins. I still believe in RG3's ability to make 4th-quarter plays on one leg.</p>— Skip Bayless (@RealSkipBayless) <a href="https://twitter.com/RealSkipBayless/status/288070688588304384" data-datetime="2013-01-06T23:52:58+00:00">January 6, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
As a Falcons fan who isn't optimistic i'm confident they won't pound the Falcons. They didn't even pound the Redskins. This game just got put out of reach late. They should be thanking god RG3 went down.
Easier to go for it when you have a 2 possession lead instead of a 1 possession lead. Also Seattle is in Redskins territory while Houston was in their own territory.
Yes, he walked off. ACL, LCL, MCL, PCL tears are weird in that they snap, but there's no serious pain directly from it, and you can walk on it after. Knee just feels weird and can slip out if you step wrong. He's already in a brace, so he can get around okay. He'll be in an MRI as soon as any swelling passes.
It was most o the Seawhawks first playoff game, and it was on the road. They basically spotted the Redskins 14 points. Also, although the Skins didn't rush like their usual selves, they were able to run effectively in the first half, which allowed them to get the lead and kept the ball away from the Seahawks. To beat this dominant Seahawks defense, you gotta be able to run the ball. The Falcons are one of the worst running football teams in the entire league. Unless they bring some home cooking, this isn't going to be close.
