I'm a huge Texans fan and don't really care for the Eagles, but it would have been a great story seeing the Eagles win the Super Bowl. Andy Reid went through that terrible tragedy with his son passing away that this team is performing the way it is now. It's not Reid's fault, but how can an owner even fire Reid after what happened before the season.
*Andy Reid went through that terrible tragedy with his son passing away that I feel bad that this team is performing the way it is now. Fixed. Wish I could edit my posts. lol
I've said this before, but I have a completely opposite opinion of Andy Reid. When his son passed away (RIP), he didn't take any time off to take care of his family and help bring them together. Instead he went to the funeral and then got back to work two days later. That's just misplaced priorities. His family had a history of drugs, jail-time and addiction and he never thought it a more important priority than Eagles football. People celebrate his "dedication" but I think that's a joke when his personal life is in total shambles.
Stick a fork in the Eagles. Vick is washed up and they don't have it in them to make a playoff run. They aren't out of it mathematically, but the wheels have fallen off. Cowboys vs. Eagles next Sunday will be the Battle of Pathetic Losers.
Not to mention their remaining schedule has Falcons x2, Giants, and Niners. Best I can see even with a run is 8-8. That's not likely to get it done in the NFC WC.
Looking at the Celek interception again, it was BLATANT pass interference with Celek's arm being held.
Yup they loss to Kansas City and Carolina. They had to beat them considering both of those teams are pretty pathetic. Wouldn't shock me if they beat us next week but with that defense Matt Ryan should light them up.
