But maybe it's just the players. The Cowboys did the same under Wade, and he got tossed. Yet the Cowboys are still doing the same things and underachieving. But it's really frustrating see that talented of a team stacked on both ends just can't get it done.
Look at San Diego's remaining games. 9 Nov 06 GB @ SD Qualcomm Stadium 4:15 PM 10 Nov 10 OAK @ SD Qualcomm Stadium 8:20 PM 11 Nov 20 SD @ CHI Soldier Field 4:15 PM 12 Nov 27 DEN @ SD Qualcomm Stadium 4:15 PM 13 Dec 05 SD @ JAC EverBank Field 8:30 PM 14 Dec 11 BUF @ SD Qualcomm Stadium 4:15 PM 15 Dec 18 BAL @ SD Qualcomm Stadium 8:20 PM 16 Dec 24 SD @ DET Ford Field 4:05 PM 17 Jan 01 SD @ OAK O.co Coliseum 4:15 PM I don't see more than 5 wins here, really don't. In fact I'd be very surprised if they won 5 out of their last 9. Even if they did, that puts them at 9-7.
Just $60, but that $60 would have turned into $600 with the win. Had Cinci covering the spread and the Lions/Bills/Texans winning outright. In general this was one of the easiest weeks to pick the winners. I stay away from spreads when it reaches 2 TD's so no way was I going with the Saints. Other than picking the Pats to win, every other game going into Monday night went exactly as it should have. It's shocking really there weren't more games that went away from the norm.
The schedule makers are some real masochists. Both Browns and the Bengals still have to play the Ravens twice and the Steelers twice.
*still* being the important word. No idea why the schedule maker thought it was a good idea for the browns to play the steelers and ravens 4 times in the last 5 weeks. cleveland's last 5 gamees: bal @pit @ari @bal pit cinci has the 4 games over an 8 week period, so it isn't as bad for them.
In retrospect Browns weren't winning more than 4 or 5 games this season anyway. Hard way to end the season though.
