Should we also say that the NFL should move to a 12 game season to reduce injuries, and not doing so shows that they don't care about player safety? Outside of the fact that we happen to be at 16 right now, what makes 16 the right number?
Torn ACL for Bradford Finley in the ICU (likely done for the year, regardless of whether or not he needs surgery) Torn LCL/broken leg for Cushing I don't think less games is the answer... but more games won't help the situation.
First game really watching Luck . . . he is impressive but the indy Defense looks more so . . .. . this worries most when the Texans play them Rocket River

I like this new NFL were trades are more common. Is their something in the new CBA thats making trades more feasable?
Trade deadline was pushed back? Who knows but you're right, there have been more trades this year (or seems that way anyways).

Where has a reduction to 12 games even been discussed? Has the union brought it up? The question is 16 or 18 games. Caffeine much?

It hasn't. I'm asking you personally. If you can make the claim that the league doesn't care about player safety if they add 2 games, then why doesn't the same apply the other way? 14 or 12 games would be safer for players than 16. Does that mean the league doesn't care about player safety by having 16 games? If not, why is there a difference, outside of the arbitrary fact that they happen to be at 16 right now?
