Hasn't been anything special thus far but the Rams still like him.

From @MikeSilver & I on Total Access Kickoff: #Rams are willing to re-do Sam Bradford's contract now. unbelievable how Bradford has been getting a pass all these years, this guy sucks... Josh Freeman struggles under a medicore coach and loses his job smh double standards
people need to stop critisizing the new wave of qb's after every bad game or two they have thinking that they have been figured out. They are not gonna be awesome every game. 2 games after Kap threw for 400 yards people were saying he was exposed lol smh... if they did that with every pocket passer in the NFL, their would only be 5 good qb's total in the nfl
Of course a #1 overall pick is going to get a longer leash than whatever Freeman was. You have more invested in him, so you're going to give him more of an opportunity. Besides, Bradford's improved each of the last few years, so he seems to be at least going in the right direction - that can't be said for Freeman. Bradford's QB rating this year is #17 - not great, but not terrible. Freeman is #33 (dead last) - in a league with only 32 teams...
i just cant help but think that if RG3 had the same talent around him that the Rams have, that he would flourish. Bradford has no arm and never gets called out by the media like Cam and others The Rams have a decent defense as well.. compared to the skins lol.... RG3 gets killed by the media but doesnt have near the talent around him that a lot of these young qb's have around them( just go around and compare). Its almost not fair... EJ Manuel and Geno Smith have better teams built around them than RG3.... maybe it could be because the salary cap penalty issued by the NFL on the skins back in 2011 they cant build around him
Cam up until this point has had a better career than Bradford... both were number 1 picks.... both have had equal success in terms of wins, but only 1 gets critisized... why is that
Because you touch yourself, Kent. Bradford has had plenty of criticism. I don't see Sam Bradford in any national advertising campaigns except the Heisman one. I've seen Cam, Kaep, Wilson, RG3 in plenty. Freeman was terrible and has been for a couple of seasons. It has nothing to do with his skin color. It has everything to do with the fact that he's a bad teammate and couldn't hit the ocean from the beach.
Cam is mainly criticized because of how he handled himself during press conferences last year. In one of them he had his eyes closed while answering questions. He will never reach his potential unless Carolina gets himself on offense.
RG3 had enough talent around him for the Redskins to win their final 7 games last year to finish 10-6 division winners. This happened despite Pierre Garcon and RG3 being injured part of the time. If he didn't have knee surgery, Redskins would likely be sitting pretty at 2-1 right now. RG3 doesn't have much to complain about despite hating Shanahan's guts. Next year he will get a fresh start with a new coach. Maybe a year of having everything go wrong will do him good long term.
