The Miami coach (whatever his name is) gets cute and calls a timeout which nullifies the Jets FG being blocked. Rex Ryan is clapping and smiling on the sideline. Of course, the Jets kicker drills the re-kick. The cuteness of calling a TO right before a FG is gone. Coaches need to give it up in the NFL. It's a double-edged sword that cuts both ways.
Thank you for icing the Jets kicker, stupid Dolphins coach. You just negated a blocked field goal, which they converted they 2nd try to end the game! I never understood icing the kicker. Never works. It just wastes time.
How much money did Mike Smith pay these POS replacement refs? Is Matt Ryan their fantasy team? Did they like the Falcons FB fanpage before the game? ****ing horrible.
It worked for Shanahan against Sea-bass a few years ago in a Broncos/Raiders game. A week or two later, a college coach did the same thing successfully. Those two events became legend and are why coaches still do it.
