can san diego still make the playoffs?

if broncos lose and san dego beats raiders, everyone will have an 8-8 record. i wonder who gets in.

SD would still lose tiebreaker to Denver and thus are mathematically eliminated.

Ok I'm guessing Ravens-Bengals is the next best game with playoff implications available for NBC next week.

since the giants won, if they beat dallas next week they will have the same record. they have the tie breaker

if dallas beat philly, they would have been a game ahead, but if they lose to ny, they would be tied and no matter who wins, the tie breaker goes to the winner.

so it didn't matter if they go in a game ahead or tied.

Do the Bears have any real reason to show up tonight? Can they still get a wild card? It doesn't seem like it but NBC has them in the "In the hunt" bracket.

Technically, if the Bears won out and the Falcons lost their last two, the Bears would be in. But the Falcons are at home against Tampa in their last week, so yeah... not happening.

This Bears replacement QB is doing way better than Yates.

Jordy Nelson is the most underrated receiver in the NFL.

Atlanta's defense is always a fraud, especially going back the last 10 years or so. They'll rank well statistically, and even be given some credit by analyst. Yet, when they play a real offense, BOOM, they are ran out of stadium . . .

The Texans should have spent Jacoby's money plus some more to get Sproles. He would have been our second best receiver and solved our kick returning woes at the same time.
