At least Texans fans can be glad we're not the Redskins. A team that has been filled with hope and many years with enough talent to get over the hump. And now they find a franchise QB, and give him an extension and bench him all in the matter of about 6 weeks.

Reeks of dissension in the organization. Someone (Snyder) demanded he be extended, and someone else (Shanny) doesn't want him.

Edit: I'm starting to wonder if Shanahan might be another one-and-done in Washington. It's certainly not unprecedented with what happened with Marty Schottenheimer, and with all of the big names that could be on the market I wonder if Snyder will be tempted. God I hope the Texans aren't going down that path...they stuck with Norv Turner for far too long, and they have been a mess ever since.

    Utterly stupid on Shanahan's part.

Turns out he was demoted to 3rd string.

    Rex
    John Beck
    McNabb

Yeah, I already broke up with Kyle Orton anyway. Thinking of dropping him entirely and picking up Sam Bradford or something. I'm OK with a safe low upside guy at QB for my playoff run -- I have enough firepower in the lineup to keep opponents busy.

Apparently, none of it - they can cut him with no penalty. Which is just bizarre in itself.

This weekend's slate of games will be pretty awesome .

    Saints @ Ravens
    Jets @ Steelers
    Eagles @ Giants
    Chiefs @ Rams
Packers @ Patriots ( Rodgers is out for the game ) Game could get really ugly!!

Im sure there are more interesting matchups , also there are some draft pick positional games which could decide top 5 picks next year's draft .

I really think Shanahan is tanking, by not playing McNabb.
in a post conference, he said that since they already mathemaltically eliminated from the playoffs, he wants to try the other two quarterbacks in the roster, to see which one is gone, and who is staying.

Also said, that he cant guarantee that McNabb will return next year.

Also seems that, Kyle Shanahan loves Rex Grossman, because Rex was in the Texans, when Kyle was the OC, and now that Kyle is with the Redskins, Grossman is also with them, and going to start now and played the last 2:00 minutes some weeks ago.

Just a mess in DC. From Haynesworth to McNabb and the lies about McNabb. Crazy.

Well if Luck comes out , he will be the #1 Pick . Redskins might go after Newton or Mallet.

What idiot at Fox decided to show a worthless Cowboys/Redskins game instead of Saints/Ravens or Giants/Eagles?
