lol. you beat the snot out of Brodie Croyle to get to a very impressive 7-6. even if Sandy Eggo makes the playoffs.... we already know the outcome... slapped around by Manning.
If the Jets look beatable to you, then the Bears should look ridiculously beatable as well. They've looked solid but have benefited from some incredible fortune for a lot of their wins this year. The Bears could easily lose these last 3 games, and it's way too early to say the Packers game will be meaningless. Packers dropped an ugly one today, but Flynn did not look like an NFL QB out there. If Rodgers comes back full strength, I think they likely beat the Bears and Giants and at least give New England a fight. Whether that's enough for the playoffs remains to be seen.
if the dolphins hold on, i have the jets going into week 17 at 9-6 @ pitt next week @ chi the week after they get upset against the bills and the jets might be out of the playoffs after starting 9-2 too bad we don't have the tiebreaker against them again
Sanchez with a great 2 min drive. I remember after the Jets beat the Texans, Dilfer was on ESPN declaring Sanchez the best QB at the moment. Sanchez has always been over hyped and nobody would be talking about him if he wasn't playing for NY.
I am in your boat when it comes to Sanchez being over hyped, but he was playing extremely well for a good stretch of the season.
Sanchez looks impressive thanks to terrible defensive coordinators like Frank Bush who let him dictate the play in a two minute drill. New England and Miami consistently brought pressure in his face and caused him to make too many mistakes. Sanchez is terrible under pressure. Look forward to the Steelers blasting him into the ground with Harrison and Polamalu picking him off for every mistake.
Y u mad tho? C'mon now, today it wouldn't of mattered who was QB, we were more physical, wanted it more, had a killer instinct and we straight up manhandled you guys. Don't give me the injury excuse either because we were missing the best TE in the league, also. We made you our b****es today, accept it and quit avoiding it.
I'm pretty sure David Carr had just a good of a stretch as well. In fact, if Sanchez pans out, its probably exactly how David Carr would have done had he gone to an established team and didn't get shellshocked with 2 years of zero protection. But if Sanchez fizzles, like Carr has done, then it doesn't matter what situation they come into... and the NFL rule will be to not draft pretty boy QB's from California. For every Aikman, there's been a Carr-Sanchez-Leinert.
Fixed. These USC QBs are alway overrated playing under Carroll in a QB system that does not translate well into the NFL.
Damn the Jets need to fire this moron. It's despicable when players do such a thing but to see a coach blatently take a cheap shot, is complete unacceptable. Goodell should fine the Jets and the coach for this kind of behavior.
