Anybody watching this Raiders-Bengals game? They just had one of the dumbest sequences I've seen in a long time. On 3rd and 6, the Bengals threw the ball, fumbled, an Oakland player made an excellent play to keep the fumble in bounds, then another Raider player picked it up and ran it in for a TD... but a ref "inadvertently" blew a whistle while the ball was loose, so the Bengals got to replay the down. Then on the next play, the Bengals false start but nobody heard the whistle so the Raiders sacked Dalton... but then the Left Tackle for the Bengals goes after the defender that tackled Dalton and they start a brawl. The LT for the Bengals got ejected, two players for the Raiders got ejected (only one deserved it), there were offsetting penalties so the Bengals got to replay the down. The Bengals then have 12 players in the huddle, so that adds a 5 yard penalty. And then the next play they hit A.J. Green deep on a play-action pass. Now the Bengals have the ball deep in Raiders territory and they never should have had the ball in the first place. That's the best I could possibly explain that situation
How do teams without a good quarterbacks even have fans? I forgot how painful it is to watch a team without a qb.
Brady Quinn is horrible. I watched almost the entire 4th quarter and didn't see him complete a single pass.
Colts D is NOT worse than the Skins at all i dont wanna hear any more excuses last week the Colts gave up 59... but if you look deeper.. Luck threw 2 pick sixes, and had a another fumble deep in Pats territory
I decided to pick up Cleveland's D/ST in my fantasy league because I didn't like the Jets D/ST against the Patriots. Jets D/ST got -12 points Browns D/ST got 20 points That's the best possible decision I could have made.
Aikman: it looked like his knee might have been down before he crossed the goal line. Buck: But nobody touched him. Aikman: Well there ya have it.... This is the A team for Fox?
The 49ers have Super Bowl aspirations. Alex Smith's "safe" style wasn't going to make it easy for them to do that. Things like this tell you the bottom line is winning, not loyalty or recent play or whatever.
Colts will not go away the HOU-NE game is gonna be huge, could decide home field for the AFC championship
I haven't seen them play much this season, but Alex Smith last year got them to within a muffed punt of a Superbowl last year - and from his stats, he seems to be better and more aggressive this year. His Yards-per-attempt is second only to Robert Griffin in the NFL this year (and tied with Peyton Manning). I think this will be good going forward in the case of injury because they will have two proven QBs with real game experience. But part of their winning formula is playing smart - and Kaepernick is unproven in that regard. I'd guess their upside is now higher, but so is their downside.
