I really Suh as a player, but that was inexcusable. He really needs to tone this down. The guy is very well-spoken, but he just becomes a different beast on the field, both good and bad. He's a great defensive player, but this will really tarnish his reputation and potentially eventually his play. Hopefully he gets a few game suspension, and he can learn from that.
What a load of garbage. Suh shouldn't have done the interview. I'm not sure if he's subject to being suspended, but if so, he dug himself deeper. Since he shows no remorse and won't even acknowledge what he did was wrong, Goodell will lower whatever boom he can. Somebody has to take Suh aside and straighten the guy out before he goes too far off the deep end. Doing this AFTER already visiting Goodell is a bad sign.
He'll be suspended, at least 2 games. Miami beating Arlington late in the game. only 2 pt game though, and still 3 min left. Probably ends on a FG.
Suh is one of the best defensive players in the league, but that was just dirty. I wonder if you can get +/- numbers for the NFL.
I've backed him in the past, but that was straight garbage and bush league. That he's lying about it like a 3rd grader makes it worse. I hope he gets suspended at least two games. At least two.
I can't understand how the ravens haven't won more championships. At the end of the day, as great as Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are, they can only claim 1 championship. I think you have to say that the ravens defense has been the best defense of the last decade, even better than the steelers.
This loss doesn't mean anything for the 49ers because you can pencil them in as the #2 seed in the NFC. They only have one legit game left (at home against the Steelers) and own the tie-breaker over the Saints. This was big for the Ravens. They will likely get that elusive home game in the playoffs.
Suh play was very dirty, and he says he didnt do anything wrong? At least you have to recognize you made a mistake. Also he apologized to everybody, except for the guy he kicked? And he wants to take off the "dirty player" label, that is not going to happen soon.
awexler Adam Wexler W/ Balt win, #Texans now 3rd seed in AFC heading into Sunday. If #Texans & Pats win, then #Texans move to top spot w/ best conf. record.
The Tampa Bay Bucs' defense (Sapp, Brooks, Rice, Barber, Lynch) was just as beastly and they only had 1 championship to show for it. I put that Bucs' defense on par with the Ravens, if not better. That Bucs' D had VERY VERY little offensive help. If they had someone like Flacco, they would have won at least 3 rings. Defense wins championship, but you need some offense.
You think what Suh did was worse than Haynesworth a few years back? Like this former NFL head of officials says, he'll probably gets 2 or 3 games. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...ons-unsportsmanlike-conduct-suspension-112411 This will also serve him notice if he does something stupid like this again, he could get half a season off or more.
He should be banished to the Texans......we would even give up next years first round pick....just do it !!! DD
I love the Packers' player's strategy talk about the Lions: http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/post/_/id/34886/delusion-and-reality-for-ndamukong-suh One of the Packers' primary talking points during the short practice week was, essentially, to sit back and wait for Suh and/or another Lions player to make a mistake of aggression. Or, as Lang put it: "He's been getting dumb penalties all year. That's something we talked about all week: They were probably going to do something stupid along the way. They’ve done it in almost every game."
