Its a good thing, because now that their savior Foles is back there instead of Vick we can see if the struggles of the Eagles were really Vicks fault so far a holding call, and close pick 6 for Foles Vick is not the problem in Philly, im glad Foles is back there now, because next year when that O-line is healthy he will take all the credit when Vick is gone So yes Vick's injury was a good thing
Shaud, I have a hell of a lot of respect for you. I don't see how people get something that should be so simple. The only good thing I could see is that Foles coming in fixes all the issues you named above, which ain't gonna happen. From some people's responses and the crowd's reaction, you'd almost think that is what they are expecting. Idiots.
Im not shocked my Falcons lost today. Should be fined but the running game is a big concern. Michael Turner is a big softie and it doesn't help that the run blocking isn't any better
You seem to be the only sane one on the situation. The only good to come out of Foles coming in is McCoy will get more touches. The problem is now the defenses will really key in on McCoy. Overally defensively the Eagles aren't all that bad but they get very bad at the end of games when they need a stop.
Foles has a built in excuse, actually a few, for any mistakes made and anybody who supports his playing. 1. Obviously he's a rookie. 2. No practice with the first team offense. 3. No real NFL playing time. 4. And he'll probably get all the passes that nobody seems to give Vick (OL, defense, playcalling, coaching, etc.).
