My Sarcasm meter might be failing... but that logic is pretty ****ty when you consider how they've dominated some of those opponents on the defensive end. Don't count the early two losses because they are totally different team than they were when they started 1-2. After that Bears game... everything has been up hill for them.
I don't trust the Giants either. They go through phases, remember last year when they started 5-0 then lost 8 of their next 11? The first half of their schedule was the easiest part and in the second half they have 5 division games along with Green Bay and I don't consider the Jacksonville and Minnesota games gimmes either.
Last week I was looking forward to a Raiders Chiefs game, and now I'm looking forward to a Thursday night game???
After the Bears game is the benchmark? OK, After the Bears game: Their opponents combined win/loss is 11-21. Two of the 4 games were vs. backup quarterbacks. A thrid game they were losing before an injury to the opposing quarterback. You're impressed with the Giants dominating some opponents since the Bears game?
Interesting stuff about the Giants win quality. So based on that, who are the real frontrunners in the NFC in terms of quality wins? Packers? Eagles? Falcons?
The Giants are very up and down, but if they get hot at the right time (like they did in '07) they are contenders IMO. That pass rush is hard to look past.
I forgot about their win over the Steelers. (and MAYBE Tampa) But other than that, losing to the Cardinals, the Browns, and barely beating some terrible teams along the way... they look more up and down than the Giants.
getting the fox double header always sucks, but you got a good one tonight, ne/pitt sunday night, and mcnabb/philly monday night, not too bad
****. I didn't even realize there was a Thursday Night game until I read this thread just now. Anyway, The Giants have the best defense right now, that is why they are dominating. Oh, and some guy named Hakeem Nicks.
Wow, Ravens were down 20-7 in the beginning of the 4th. Tie game... now they could take the lead with the extra point.
