You can't blame Murray on that one play where Dez got in the way. Dez did not have any clue where the ball was when he should have known it was a run and been blocking for Murray. Instead, he's got his back turned and had no clue. Murray got lucky on that long run. There was one play when Murray had a clear hole up the middle. Yet, he ran right to where a defender was being blocked and that defender grabbed hold of him. I also did not understand why Murray, on that long run, just didn't continue running down the sideline. He took a turn inside right into like 3 or 4 Giants. He could have had another 10 yards running down the sideline.

cow pokes may have found something decent with olgetree and their Oline played well last night...but perhaps the most important point of the game...was that the giants secondary was terrible...

This is exactly why I respect the hell out of Steeler fans and 49er fans. They don't throw around their number of titles like they somehow make them a superior team today. The Cowboys for all intents and purposes have been the 3rd best team in their division for about the last two decades when you talk about regular and postseason success. That doesn't bode well when you put them in comparison with the rest of the league either.
I agree with you LP. It's posts like the one you quoted that drive me crazy as a Cowboys fan. Those trophies are so far in the past it's crazy. Jerry has been slowly destroying the team since firing Jimmie Johnson... and most Cowboys fans are obnoxious beyond belief. It really makes it hard on reasonable lifelong fans like myself.
puffing your chests out after beating a giant team by 7 who was missing pretty much their whole secondary??? cowgirls fans are such idiots..you realize the rest of the country just laughs at yall..
True. They were also missing guys on the defensive line like Canty. But the Boys' defense is much improved. Secondary looked great last night. Cruz dropping balls sure did help them tho.
cowboys were missing their starting nose tackle, and played virtually the entire game with a center they acquired 4 days ago. yet they (mostly) controlled both O&D lines, and romo and their 3rd string receiver, a guy who a few weeks ago was doubtful to make the team, lit them up.
Steelers I can understand. They have been to 3 in the past 6 years winning 2 of those, they have reason to gloat about recent history.
Cowboys have a TON of holes, just like the giants did. Both teams will be better mid-season, with better health/reps/experience. But the bigger picture is this was a game that the Cowboys would routinely lose, v. a team that routinely wins these types of games, ON THE ROAD. I'm happy for Romo b/c he takes a lot of flak. Hopefully he can build on this. I'm still very much confident in Tony and hopefully this will be the year that he makes all Cowboys fans pump their chest again
