Now they are saying a 1st and a 5th next year. I thought they said 3rd. WTF mate?

I think SD made out on this deal. If it ends up being a 3rd rounder next year then they really kicked ass.

Slight correction by Paul.....trade QB's, and SD gets the 3rd rd pick of NYG this year, and then 1st and 5th rd pick next year.

Okay, that's a great deal for SD if you ask me. Especially if they had the two QB's rated so closely. I wouldn't be happy if I'm a Giants fan. They won't be much better next year, so that could be a high pick for SD.

Tags apparently heard the trade wrong.

A 1st and a 5th next year (and a 3rd this year) is still good, though.

With the 10th pick, the Texans take DeAngelo Hall.....well, not yet for those of you following along, but that's what it's looking like.

Believe it or not, I hope we don't take a D lineman this high. We need a lockdown CB just as much as a safety.

Weren't there several scenarios where they had the Redskins trading Taylor to the Texans???

Just something to think about... while it takes another 14 hours to get to the Texans pick.

Even so, good trade for SD.

Eli is going to have the world on his shoulders.

I wouldnt want to be a rookie QB in NY knowing that the team gave up a ton to get me.

I would think that Atlanta might take Hall before he drops to us.

    Lions select Roy Williams #7.

Harrington/Rogers/Williams is going to be a stout combo for a long time.

I didnt hear what the details of the trade with Cleveland and Detroit were?

Loins take Roy Williams. I thought they needed defensive backfield help more than we do?
