That's Clutch's IIRC. Love that thing.

Well...another loss. No prob. We still have plenty of time to get thigns clicking again with Yao.

This is the first time I see that PTP image. Guess it was way back to 04-05 season and I haven't join this forum yet.

BTW, that is the best PTP photo ever.

    p.s. "PTP" - Photoshop The Pain :D

That video of the Rockets/Mavs playoff game makes me cry.

    Refs are ridiculous.

It's a tough job. I don't see why we have to resort to this.. but oh well, whatever makes you happy.

Shouldn't really have any "Official" standing in the thread title. Unless you were trying to be funny in the official/referee sense, but I don't think that was the goal..

Please look at the Youtube of the Z tackle in the other thread again, and then make your decision. Also, please put what you think after reviewing the play on your column. I thank you in advance for for being fair and objective.

Why doesn't the NBA have a review for their Ref's at the end of the season? Or do they? If they don't, it doesn't make sense that there is no performance review in place. I know they are human and all that crap but some of them make repeated mistakes on horrible calls or no-calls. The Ref's should also be subject to press conferences like the players and coaches are.

Last thing, I don't care if Big Z stripped the ball before he tackled Yao, he still through his 7'2 body laterally in front of another player leading to that player falling to the ground. In that case you should be allowed to cleanly jump over another players back to grab a rebound. I just don't get that.

what I hate about some Refs is that some of them think they are bigger than the game,Like people are there to see them....
If you are a ref and we,the people, know your name, then you are not doing your JOB!!

the officiating has been fairly good for most of the year, but this game was one of the stinkers.

did it cost the rockets the game? irrelevant.

could it cost the rockets and the nba one of its superstars, very likely. Its a joke. they call everylittle thing everywhere else on the court but apparently its cool to tackle and roll into someones knee as long as they are 7'6 and in the paint. refs are going to shorten yaos career if there isnt a serious look at it.

DId anyone else catch when yao got pushed in the back on a rebound, while at the same time getting tripped? freaking b.s

The strip was clean but you can not DIVE across another man's body to get the strip.

A clear foul......Big Z should have been whistled....

They do, but it apparently doesn't mean anything. Players and coaches are asked to review every ref's performance. Both Dick Bavetta and Bennett Salvatore are reviewed poorly every year. And they still call Finals games.
