dude I am having the same problem, the game is out o control I hate the rim because it's so thin and not the focal point on the game, the net looks short. Don't get me wrong I love the game but I have to get used to the game. Anyone else notice the difference?
You have to actually play defense (stay in front of them, help, etc.) which is much better than previous games where you just hold a button with a good defender. Quick players will get by you just like in real life, the nba has rules that prevent you from stopping a quick players drive. The only issue is that they rescaled everyone's ratings and left the great players with godly ratings. Kobe, Lebron, and Wade score on triple teams with ease while bigs have issues making lightly contested layups. The results are realistic, those 3 wings are going to score much more than an average big but the process isn't realistic. In reality, if a big guy gets right under the rim (with no one in position to stop him) he's going to score. You don't see that often because teams dedicate defenses to preventing bigs from gaining good position. I would have been much happier if they prevented you from gaining good position with an average big than make you blow layups like now.
Sliders can change that, if I'm not mistaken. Maybe not to improve the defense, but you can definitely improve the success of shots by the rim. Of course, it will affect everyone rather than just bigs. Still better though.
why cant tmac do the spin dunk, that he always does in 2k9 and ariza sucks behind the arc, I missed like 6 threes with him in a row

Yeah, i know. I just have no interest in adjusting the way all players play. I mean, if I make players finish better inside imagine how unstoppable Kobe will be then. Adjusting sliders improves the game when you play against the computer because you get the realism you desire and they don't try or know how to exploit it. Sometimes people are unintentionally cheesy. A friend could be driving with Kobe in the 4th quarter repeatedly but not know that my doubles are useless in the paint. He might be thinking he's just that good.
No. They pretty much play the way they do in real life. Lowry drives allllll the time. I'm going through training camp with the Rockets and I just beat out David Andersen for the 3rd spot (He got cut after I owned him the 2nd game). I have yet to win a game in training camp thanks to Ariza owning up my team. Just try it, its pretty fun.

Has anybody been able to use the Gold room yet? Every time I enter the access code it says it's incorrect.
Yeah.. the skinny 0's are O's and the O's are 0's... It's the opposite of how it looks.. use all caps and the dashes. It should work.
