Am I the only one who thinks Clark Kellogg is horrible? He has very few lines and his opinions about specific players are often completely baseless. In the video that ItsMyFault posted he repeats the "For us hoop fanatics..." line before almost every game. Weak...
$20. If you buy from Amazon, you can get $10 credit on another video game purchase. Plus you can use the ECA discount, if you have that.
Thank you very much! About ordering from Amazon i don't think that they ship to Macedonia (even if they do, it'll cost about 20$ for sure) so all i have left is digital download from Steam...
Oh, sorry about that. Didn't know you were in Macedonia (should have looked at your profile). But yeah, Steam will have it, and for $20 as well I'd assume (that is the MSRP after all). Maybe less if they ever do some deal involving the game.
RC_Cola I think? But I won't be playing this on PS3...in fact, I doubt I'll even play it online at all (might barely just play a few games, especially early on).
Does anyone know if the PC version will have a demo released? I want to buy it for the PC but I need to know if it can run or not.
No idea. 2K9 had a demo, at least on Steam. I think it came out around 10 days after the game was released though. Actually...just check out the 2K9 demo. If it can run that, you're probably fine.
MAN...........SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LUKING 4WARD 2 DIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just hope the PC version isn't just some rush-up-to-the-shelves console version for some quick cash
That's what I was worried about with 2K9. But I gave it a shot since it was on sale for $10, and I really enjoyed it. To be fair, I haven't really kept up with the console versions in recent years (can't justify the price tags), but the PC version didn't seem to have any issues AFAIK. Probably better if you have a good PC (better graphics/framerate). They didn't have online multiplayer though, but they seem to be adding it to 2K10...and still pricing it at $20, which I still don't understand. Can't remember if it does all the roster/stats/commentary updates though...but then again, some of that stuff can be added via mods if it doesn't. I'm sure there is a bigger threat of there being bugs on the PC version, but hopefully that won't be a problem.
I liked it, you actually have to work for your shots now. You can't just do one lame crossover and keep dunking it anymore...the defense is harder too, which is another thing I liked. Seriously, all you did in 2k9 was hold down the back L button and do nothing on do. Its more realistic this way imo. The only flaws in the game I think is the slow fastbreaks and the unbalanced ratings.
Someone posted this video at operationsports and it really is amazing. Kobe dunks, falls into the cameraman and the cameraman tries to protect himself. On the bench Vujacic (and only him!) jumps up to celebrate since he has a man-crush on Kobe. Its beautiful. http://community.2ksports.com/community/media/viewer.cfm?mediaid=57525
Well, I've been waiting all summer for this game and it's coming out tomorrow! I have the anniversary edition pre-ordered, although it sucks that there is no midnight release of the game at my Gamestop. I'm debating if I should snag one at a 24/7 Walmart and just cancel my preorder.
I am studying for an exam and I am just waiting till the clock strikes 12:00 getting my copy. Can't wait!
Ditto my friend... I just called the Stafford Wallymart and they WILL have it out on shelves at 12am... I'm thinking I'm gonna give this copy to my brother and pick my special addition up on Wednesday. (Rockets tomorrow BTW!!!)
From OchoCinco's tweet (I'm assuming he meant 2K10) http://twitter.com/OGOchoCinco Am I the only one going to get Nba 2k9 at midnight, just curious, I'm buying games for everybody at gamestop that shows up.
