I like it so far... no more lock down D... turbo is limited so people can't cheese all day. It's basically just like Draft Combine... I'm already owning with the demo. Anyone who wants a piece of me will get it next Tuesday.
I am downloading it now, but after seeing how the player ratings were so skewed towards Kobe and Lebron, I don't think I am gonna buy this. They just made the biggest online problem even worse.
If I can run this game on my laptop that is the version I'll get because it's only $20 on Amazon. I don't care if I have to run it on low settings as long as I get to play the game.
Thank god lock-down D is gone. Fast breaks are slow as hell now and you can't start your layups/dunks from the top of the key anymore.
For the first time since Xbox 360 came out I am unsure on which basketball game I am going to purchase. I have been a pretty die hard 2k fan but the demo just seems okay to me. The NBA Live team have done a lot this year to try to close the gap between the two franchise. I will probably just wait on reviews and impressions to decide.
I actually do not like it at all, which is disappointing. The game is too slow, except for Kobe who seemed like he could outrun everyone on the court. Also, it is significantly harder to play defense, which is something I do not like. Like others have said, the fast break is a little off. One thing I do like is that the court appears to be a little bigger.
I didn't have class today, so I stayed up with ItsMyFault to download the demo. I really liked it. I already have the anniversary edition pre-ordered and cannot wait to play it!
man yea i want to try the demo but its not big deal, just a quarter, i was a xbox guy btu then the 3 red lights came and i bought a ps3 slim, hopefully its the same....just waiting till tuesday any of you guys big association fans? I could spend all night just managing and having fun in that mode
yea NBA live has improved a lot, its like the spurs and raptors...raptors added a lot of new pieces to a losing franchise so they are exciting and people want to see what htey can do, yet the spurs didnt change much but they consistently put out the better product nba 2k didn't go change their game around, but they did improve and progrsesive but their foundation gameplay is solid enough to where you don't need to change it, so although live did improve more, its still steps behind 2k to feel natural sim
I'm liking it a lot more based on the demo. On 2K9 in online games, their were too many exploits and it got too arcadey at times. People were unrealistically turbo their way to basket from far out and defense was very clunky. It seemed it mattered more about streaks and runs, then actual defense at times. For example if the Wizards are playing at home with a 5-0 run, Gilbert Arenas becomes an unstoppable 3 point shooter despite having your hand right in his face every time (or if you jump to try to block, they pull the lame glitch pumpfake which works every time). Or you could have Brook Lopez dunking in the middle of 4 players.
Wow... the presentation in this game is going to be awesome. yea my xbox just had that ring of death thing and i got a ps3 slim, sucks on the demos, i like the feel of the xbox, but it feels like ps3 has more potential and capabilities(blu-ray was a huge plus), but now this crap with demos is annoying, ultimately game is suppose to be the same though, i pre ordered the anniversary edition, the locker everything is pretty cool I am a kobe fan believe it or not, but that is because I met him in the all star game here in houston and he was the chillest coolest guy there, after yao, it was him and dirk who were the most approachable and just jokes around and casually, who woulda thought... ha anyways, rocketman lets get some online games going, and I am most excited for association adn curious about this my player mode
