lol I requested to that Jeffries should get a bump up in his 3pt rating cause he is shooting 32% which equals something higher than a 48 3pt rating he had before. but the moron gave him the higher 3pt rating than Andersen. smh. whatever about that. IDC, at least he boosted him. lol. ps. I also got him to boost Jordan Hill's block, dunk, and rebounding. He's the one guy on the team that can give you a little bit of shot blocking now and he is soo much better on the boards with the update. to bad he doesn't play...
i heard it was the crappy ass formula they have for Jumpshooting Centers that's the main reason why his ratings and other like him suck.
Hilton Armstrong is a pretty good shoot blocker too. I dont really rely on shotblocking. I just go for steals with Trevor,Shane, and chuck and sometimes Martin.
Hilton Armstrong sucks. believe me. I had him in for the last seconds of a game that I was winning by 1 (cause I thought I could use his shot blocking) n the guy I was playing of course had the Lakers. He ran right in front of Hilton under the basket and shot the ball over him for the win with Kobe. Armstrong didn't even jump. I actually had a few seconds left on the clock to throw the ball down court to Jeffries of all pple. he had an easy bucket by the hoop but shot a hook and it rowed out the rim. and yes I had him in for defense too but didn't have any TO's to sub him out. bummer.
He wasn't on the game at 1st so they had to make the crappy Insider to do a CREATE A PLAYER(CAP) job for him. oh yeah I forgot to mention that they did kill Martin's shooting but I got them to fix his speed and his ball-handling. just a hint. he is a beast at taking it to the bucket.
Martin's jumper and free-throw are UGLY in the game, his jumper certainly isn't like that IRL. Budinger is a machine for me he averages 25ppg. Offensively, when I have Brooks-Martin-Budinger i'm unstoppable. I just take either Brooks or Martin to the rack and either finish strong or dish out and the 3 is automatic! Only problem is the D. Jeffries is better than I thought he'd be, both offensively and defensively.
I think they have his jumper right on the game. free-throw I'm not so sure about but I know on the game it's quick as hell. You play offline tho right? 25ppg with Bud is pretty good. For Martin he is great at getting to the rack. but you can't dish out with him cause he always throws the ball out of bounds with that ****ty passing rating he has which is lower than Battier's and Ariza's at 41.
It'd be nice if they would release the damn PC patch....say, before Baseball season starts? ....or next NBA season. I'll never buy a 2K product again. What a crock of ****. Sell an incomplete game. BAH!
I just found this thread! I haven't read all the way through it, but I just started an association after the trade deadline (had to do all the roster moves myself because I refuse to download the second patch). I'm playing all 82 games, 11 minutes, All-Star, 1st patch. Even with Yao, I am off to a rough start (due to our tough schedule this year). I traded Hilton Armstrong to the Blazers for a second round pick. I also sent Jermaine Taylor down to the D-League. I got blown out by the Blazers 96-121. I barely beat the Warriors 103-101. I lost to the Blazers 106-98. I lost to the Jazz 95-101 (this one hurt). I BEAT the Lakers 93-108 (best W of the season so far). I lost a heartbreaker to the Thunders 93-90. I got blown out by the new-look super Mavericks 87-107. The next night I beat the Grizzlies 87-82. (I think this is where I decided to increase my minutes from 10 to 11) In a big matchup against the Kings I won 114-118. (first win streak!) K. Martin: 33 pts, 2 reb, 4 ast, 2 stl C. Landry: 29 pts, 11 reb, 2 ast, 2 stl The Lakers got their revenge as I lost 96-119 (had to sim through the 4th it was so bad... streak over). I then decided that Hayes is too undersized, so I traded him and the Blazers second rounder to the Suns, who sent Frye to NY (to clear capspace) for NY's second rounder. In exchange for Hayes and the pick, I received the Suns 1st rounder (they were 1-10 at the time). The next game, I played the Suns and won 94-106 (thus increasing our lotto chances as the Suns are now 1-11). Right now I am 5-6, #4 in the division and #12 in the conference. Yao: 19.8 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.0 spg, 7.5 bpg, 2.1 topg Scola: 9.5 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.6 spg, 0.4 bpg, 0.9 topg Ariza: 14.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.4 apg, 0.7 spg, 0.7 bpg, 1.5 topg Martin: 22.7 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 3.8 apg, 0.9 spg, 0.4 bpg, 2.1 topg Brooks: 18.4 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 7.3 apg, 1.5 spg, 0.3 bpg, 2.2 topg
