My game auto-saved over my roommates myplayer. He restarted... a week later it saved over again.
Anyone want to start an online league? I was in one that went under earlier and I was having a-lot of fun.
anybody here see the **** up ratings they gave Kevin Martin on the game? the guy is the 3rd best rated player on the team's roster. 2k ought to fire the guy that's in charge of the rosters cause he is a complete joke. someone need to tell this '2k insider' to get his **** str8.
Yeah they show no love for the rockets. The game is so flawed its ridiculous. The momentum in this game is horrible. I still play it everyday though.......
someone here has NBA Live 10? I'm thinking about getting it cause I'm getting tired of 2k and the bs ratings they have. can someone tell me what our players are rated on Live and is the game an better than 2k this year, mainly the online play. I heard from some people that Live has stepped up their game this year. is that true?
I have it.... and I can't really tell you the players ratings for the Rockets because I don't play it much... Only reason I got it because I bought it for an unbeatable price at the time. It's sure as hell not better than 2K, but it's much improved from 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. Online play is actually pretty decent... I just think the game is so robotic and it doesn't run as smooth as 2K.. it's not as "lively" as 2K. I mean... it's alright... I just don't think it lives up to the par of 2K.
The gap is closing in. I actually think it is better online but offline I like 2k10. 2k has too many issues online and the team games are horrible online. You cant pick your position or the team you play on even. Live 10 is great with team play online but like I said offline is better on 2k10. Honestly neither are that great overall. sucks...
Ok the this 2k Insider, da one in charge of the ratings is a dumb A$$. He kill Kevin Martin's shooting on the game. Now his MID range rating is lower than Nene's(center for the Thuggets) and his 3pt is lower than Battier's. I spoke with him on his blog about Kevin Martin's ratings and how he ****ed it up like things like his ball-handling, etc. I get a response from him saying stuff like this that I quote: "(Martin)has average ball handling at best" & "Just strictly a scorer with no defense" After asking him where the eff do you get this from? I tell him to look at the numerous articles on the web written about his game like the article on DX written about his game from last season (I think) where it mentions things like his "terrific ball handling"| "one on one" |"pick n roll" |and his shooting off the dribble... he replys: "I still Kevin Martin has average ball handling skills for a two guard" Seems like he just watches youtube videos and bases his ratings off of what he sees on highlights. Guy is a idiot n someone needs to tell him off and fire his ass.
Havne't played 2k seriously in a while, and should after the trade, but Martin is an average ball handler. However, his mid range shooting really should be like 85 at minimum, really.
how is 2k10 now? Have they fixed all the paint slow downs and easy drives to the lane, etc? I bought the game when it came out and promptly traded it back in because I thought it was terrible. Kind of missing my basketball fix.
You need to get on operationsports.com and get user ratings and sliders. Find the ones voted the highest in the forums. It will change your life.
I like beating people online with our depleted Rockets team. So I have to use the official rosters and the guy doing the rosters ought to be shot. He has players like Andre Iguodala higher than Yao Ming, Joe Johnson higher than Brandon Roy, and Josh Smith higher than Danny Granger. He has Jared Jeffries 3pt rating higher than David Andersen's lol! It seems like the guy only boost ratings for certain teams too like the Hawks. He has to be bias towards certain teams. And he has certain favorites that he listens to on his blog like this one kid that keeps requesting for ratings boost for the Hawks/ Heat and keeps feeding the dumbass false info. The guy is gullible as hell. But I have to repeated tell this guy things that should be easily known for someone that handles the player ratings for over 400 players in the NBA like having to tell the guy before that Chase Budinger's ball handling shouldn't be lower than freaking Shane Battier's & Trevor Ariza's. smh
ok I know the reason why the r****ded ******* 2k Insider dropped Martin's shooting. don't think he likes the guy cause previous 2k games he bashed on him on his blog and some douchebag named o 99 PROBL3MS o (who's one of the Insider's favorite posters it seems like) posted earlier a couple of days ago requesting that he take away Martin's shooting and what do you know... Last update Martin's shooting gets dropped waaaaay down. That douche is the same guy that requests for all these upgrades for the Hawks too. funny thing is that Kevin Martin hasn't played as many games as a guy like Gilbert Arena's, who has an 85 3pt rating, while shooting 34% from 3 for the season(before the suspension). While Kevin Martin is shooting a higher %tage but gets his rating dropped so quickly when he has played less games. F this hating b*stard. 2k is hating on the Rockets so bad it ain't even funny. Suck that this is the only freaking decent basketball 'sim'.
