Just something cool I encountered. It was Game 4 of the Western Quarterfinals, with Los Angeles at Houston. It was nearing the end of the 3rd and both teams were neck-to-neck. McGrady was at the free throw line and hit his first one. He fist-bumped with Yao and Ariza, and took the 2nd one, making it. All of a sudden, the crowd erupted into "BEAT L.A.!" chants, which inspired Yao, McGrady and the rest of the Rockets to win the game.
Thought I'd post this here. NBA2k10 is $19.99 on steam. I'm glad to see it on the PC now. And for $20. I might be late to the party (been this price? ) But still nice.
What game mode were you playing, so I am assuming that you were playing as your created player? Not understanding, they just took over the game and you watched?
Did the created player mode for the first time. 6'5" SG 11ppg 2 rpg 4 apg 3 games in. Hopefully I get picked up by a team!

I'm grinding it out with the Austin Toros in the D-League right now. I got cut by the Lakers after the last game of training camp, even though I averaged close to 18 ppg, and had an average teammate rating of A. My player's 6'3'', 195 lbs., and I chose his style of play as Athletic.
Nah, I was playing the Playoffs mode. Not going to bother with Association or My Player till the patch. Was just glorifying the tale with the whole "inspired" thing. But the "BEAT L.A" did happen.
I'm a rebounding undersized (6"8) PF, And I try to get a spot with the rockets . Seems like I have to beat Chuck Hayes.
Just got it over the weekend and now after good 5 days here's my take: the graphics and presentation is just beautiful and gorgeous. Players look amazing and props to the facial animations. The movement animations are also top notch fluid and smooth. I love the new low post move control, more flexible in terms of what you can do with a skilled big like Yao or Howard. The only minor issues are too many intercepted passes by the defense. I am a veteran 2K player and this is the first year where its no longer safe to even pass the ball laterally near the 3 point line. Come on that should be a gimme, I am trying to move the ball around the perimeter and the defense will steal way too often. Can be fixed with a tweak of the sliders but still the devs should program better default settings. Also the alley hoops can be annoying, too many too often. The average NBA game has one maybe two but in this game CP3 and Billups are throwing lobs almost every time down the floor like its an AND1 game.
Trying to get my PS3 controller to work completely the way I want it on my PC. Getting there....slowly.

For some reason when I'm playing on my PC, the shootarounds and practices are completely fine, but when I play in a game it's always really choppy and slow. Where can I fix up the game speed?
How many games did you have to play in the D-League before you got the contract? I've already played 8 games, and I'm still in the D-League.
Starting to look like I might as well go and buy an xbox360 controller to play this on the PC. The PS3 controller just doesn't work right. Can't seem to get the joysticks to work, although everything else works right. Sucks. Should have just gotten the PS3 version lol. $20 for game $30 for controller FML. Guess it's ok since I can use the controller again in the future.
From now on i;m choosing athletic player for everything. It makes the game more playable and enjoyable. I'm able to to put up some great numbers as athletic than i did as all-around or scorer. You're alot faster and quicker which makes it easier to defend and drive the lane.
