Yainer's OPS finally over .700, I still think by years end he will be up over .750 which is still rock solid for a catcher. Problem is with all the injuries we've really needed him to step up and be a good hitter, and he hasn't been.
Both Walker and Diaz came to life, and better late than never, but both guys totally **** the bed when they were needed most (to this point).
Seattle just agreed to get Eugenio Suarez. Jesus Christ. That, unfortunately, is not premature. My prediction of Seattle landing Suarez due to them having already acquired Naylor very tragically came true.
Meanwhile the Astros splash play is getting Mauricio Dubon's half brother. Sheesh. I guess he's manning 3rd base the rest of the way.
I'm not gloating, bud. Just trying to keep your arrogance in check. The Astros don't always do the sexy moves, especially the ones that are heavily reported in the media.
Are the Athletics ****ing serious right now? These clowns pitching Miller for multiple innings against us but right now in a 5-3 game they aren't using him in the 9th. He hasn't pitched since Saturday either.
A's can't pitch Miller tonight for the save because they expect to move him tomorrow. So Perkins trying to close it out with his 2nd inning in relief. 5-4 A's with 2 outs no one on.
Whew! Seattle loses. Astros 5 games up in the division vs both Seattle and Texas. We'll take it. So do we pull for a 2-2 split between Texas and Seattle this weekend?
With Rodriguez and Arozarena both killing it the last several weeks this lineup now has a ton of length: Crawford Rodriguez Raleigh Naylor Suarez Arozarena Polanco Garver Canzone That's legit.
