Actually holding out hope we can get something decent at the TD. Dude should be close to a 3 ERA by nights end and making little to nothing in todays MLB. I am sure a contender wouldn't mind giving up a solid AA prospect with potential for a solid #3 basically paying nothing for him.
Berkman with his 26th walk of the season. He's almost in the top 20 in the NL in that category despite missing 14 games.
Big game for Hunter: HR, 1B, 2 BB Berkman, too: 2B, 1B, BB, 3 RBI And Kepp: 3-for-4 (all singles), his AVG is up to .310
Bases juiced, no outs. Lindstrom got a little unlucky on Morgan's infield single but besides that, his command isn't there.
That's Lindstrom's 2nd terrible outing in his last 3. His WHIP is well over 1.50 on the season. 3 H, 2 BB, BS so far with only 1 out. He got yanked.
Does anybody remember Capps getting into it with somebody on our team lat season when he was with the Pirates? I can't recall who it was on our side. I'm thinking Tejada but can't remember for sure.
I thought that too initially. Feliz had to wait to see if it would drop, rightfully so. The ball seemed to bounce right into the guy's glove and got back in quickly. Up to Berkman now...
