The HP ump is Bill Hohn. I googled his name and this article came up from a Braves fan last season: Five Reasons Crooked Umpire Bill Hohn Should Be Tossed From Baseball I'm sure you can find stuff like this about just about every ump from biased fans but I'm trying to read up on this guy given today's events. The douchebag:
Finally something interesting!!! A fan running all the way across field, up Tal's Hill and over. Best highlight of the Astros season so far.
That inning was all kinds of comedic... mostly in a sad sense of course. First, we should've gotten at least 1 out on Dunn's hit but Fulchino goes down thinking Berkman's throwing home and there's nobody at first. Then Pence muffs a throw that may cost us more runs. To top it all off, a fan is running around Tal's Hill then hops the fence.
This is the 3rd time in 4 games that we've given up at least 11 runs. Edit: another HR... so 3rd time in 4 games giving up at least 12 runs. That's 41 runs in those 3 games and this one isn't over yet.
cheer up. getting the #1 pick is something to look forward to. that is exciting. hopefully we'll have it the next 2 years and have a fun Marlins-esque team to root for in 2012. losing like crazy is the best thing that can happen to us.
I work game days at Minute Maid Park. Final total: 3 fans ran on the field...entertainment for the fans!
lol I only saw the one. On this Memorial Day, I'd like to thank the past and present members of our armed forces for making this country a safer place for all of us, including the 3 bozos who ran onto the field today at MMP.
I went to the game today and only caught the first fan running on to the field. I couldn't take it anymore when the Nationals were pouring it on in the 7th.
I saw the official attendance as over 34K and there was no way there was anything close to that many people in the ballpark. What was strange was that I tried to buy the outfield deck seats and they told me they were sold out. I went to different ticket booths cause I figured that was BS but they all said the same thing. There were huge patches of empty seats all over the outfield deck.
sat in the Diamond Club seats behind home plate tonight. If any of you ever get the opportunity, never pass on it.
