I hated him always having big games on us and usually with a big smile on his face. Because of that Titan stench I don't really care for him, but combine him with Shorts III, and you probably have a top WR2.
Though he's a former Titan, this is a really solid wide receiver on an extremely low risk contract. Could turn out to be one of Smith's better deals this year. And if not, oh well, it was worth a try.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Texans?src=hash">#Texans</a> have only two WRs since ‘09 have more than 20% of their targets 20+ yards. Nate Washington has had 20% or more every year since ‘09.</p>— PDS (@PatDStat) <a href="https://twitter.com/PatDStat/status/583662530859368449">April 2, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Even deep targets stretch defenses. If they have to worry about someone trying to go over the top they can't play them the same way or they'll get burned.

That's not how much he'll get paid if he's on the team, it's just the minimum amount he'll get if they cut him. You can guarantee someone $0 if you want. A lot of the minimum guys have no guaranteed money.
