Exactly this. All things considered, today was a win overall. Exciting? No. But solid at least.

Shooters who can shoot will help this team immeasurably. It was no coincidence that the Rockets looked best in the few games that Mathews shot the ball well.

Thanks for the breakdown. At least hopefully Silas wont be playing these incoming people which should mean more playing time for the guys who need it. RIP Gary Bird

This is just what I was thinking. It sounds like Silas actually stubbornly insisted on playing them, so maybe the rumours of Stone telling Silas whom to play how much weren't even true.

More reasons to fire Silas. Now.

Bruno's was definitely guaranteed this year, a small guarateed contract.

Next year it's not guarateed, the Rockets converted his two way contract because they thought KPJ played well with a roll guy rim runner.

    Forgotten?

I don’t think anyone would take him. Who knows maybe he will just cut him.

In Kelly Iko's wrap up today:

Because of Houston’s aggressive nature led by general manager Rafael Stone, there was always a sense that something would get done, even if the optics largely pointed to them sitting idly this go around.
Yes the aggressive nature led by general manager Rafael Stone is why i started this thread - to enable us Rockets fans to keep track of the fusillade of aggressive franchise improving moves that have been going on all season when the first signs of trouble appeared with the otherwise flawless rebuild.

Frank scored 31 points in a game last year. Bruno's career high is 17 and Usman's is 12. Just because Frank was riding the bench in Atlanta doesn't mean that he can't be a good backup for someone else, maybe us.

Looks like we rather paid an extra million to Boban than just cut Nix.
