Why bump this thread? If you want crow, I can pull quotes out of this threa, that say Miami will not make the playoffs, wouldn't get past the first round etc.
    It can go both ways.

People that think that Miami will somehow put it all together late in the season will be disappointed.

How hard is it to win 50 games in the Eastern conference? After tonights game they won't be on pace for a 50 win season, and look at the very weak schedule they have played so far. If Miami had to play against the stronger western Conference, they would miss the playoffs. You do realize that teams have to play teams in their own conference more often than teams in the other conference, right? Miami is so lucky to be in the East.

You were high on your horses just a few weeks ago about making a "crow eating" thread.

But now that Miami lost you play the "classy fan" role?

You quoted me from last November, and I'm not embarrassed or ashamed of that post. I never said the Heat would not make the playoffs as far as I remember. I was making the argument that the Heat would have a difficult time making the playoffs if they played in the Western Conference. If you remember, the Heat were playing poorly at the beginning of the season against the better teams. I thought the Heat would struggle even more if they had to play in the much stronger Western Conference. I was judging the Heat for the way they were playing in November, and they did end up playing better as the season progressed which surprised me a little bit. I now think if the Heat had been playing in the West they probably would have been a 5-8 seed.

They got to the Finals, so I'm pretty happy. Every team in the league would love a chance to play in the finals.
There is till plenty of crow in the Celtics and Bulls threads you will need to eat.

Also, would would of got 2-3 seed in the west in my view at the end of day and would of had a easier time getting to the conf finals vs Dallas.
West didn't have a good as a team as the Celtics or Bulls in the finals, other then Dallas.

I've had plenty, thanks for the offer. Yours is getting cold, though, and that would be a real shame. Don't worry, there's seconds if you don't want your piece.

And sorry again, goodbug/Maverick Carter, the Heat aren't really entitled to moral victories by simply making it to the Finals, especially after "not 1, not 2, not 3...." I expect them to win once they get to the Finals.

By the way, where are their rings from the Boston series?

If Lebron wants to contend, he would stay in Cleveland.

The Miami Heat, with 3 superstars, 1 who is the best player in the NBA, another the best player of his position, and another a top 10 of his position banding together just to get to the finals?

This season was a failure for Miami Heat. Plain and simple.
