watching bosh right now makes me regret him not signing with us. he is tailor-made to play with adelman. gosh, his J is so wet.
I gotta say, Bosh also seems like hes playin with a chip on his shoulder, since he was called the third wheel and all that. Hes 8 for 12 so far, I LOVE his jumper form.
If the Heat doesn't have to meet the Lakers in the finals, they will be the first to prove that offense wins championship. Meaning that they won't need much of a defense anyways. I say their average scoring time per possession will be something like 14 seconds? unless they play us, in which we will most likely win
Bosh has been getting wide open J's and one on one coverage inside. He just might get 25ppg on 60% shooting.
the heat defense will be top 3-4. they were the best defensive team STATISTICALLY last year wihout james. it's preseason and they are losing wade, who is a top notch defender himself. their defense will take time. and by the 3rd month, look for them to dominate defensively, unless they play the lakers. the lakers will give them problems with their size.
this is what KD lacks: overall game. if he doesn't score or score efficiently, he CAN be invisible. it doesn't happen often bc he's such a great scorer, but it appears he still lacks the all-around game. westbrook is out and he still doesn't try to initiate the offense.
If you think Durnat is better then Lebron, you should watch the Miami game right now. Lebron is a level above Durant.
defense: ppg - 94.2 (#2) fg% against - 43.9 (#2) 3pt% agains - 34.2 (#5) i was basing on ppg, i forgot about the bobcats. nevertheless, spoelstra is a riley's disciple, so defense will not be a concern.
this is why i can say with a straight face that durant will never be better than lebron. an all-around game is something you just have. he doesn't. the only way he'll get in the conversation is if he wins rings, like kobe is doing to stay in the conversation with lebron as the best player.
He seems pretty well-rounded to me. You make him sound like a tall version of Kevin Martin. He's a good rebounder and seems like an improved defender. He handles the ball well and passes it well for a forward. He doesn't have LeBron's or McGrady's floor game, but he's not 1-dimensional either.
