This team is not too special..

Wade is only on decline as injuries will only derail him from now on.

LeBron is too unselfish, passes the ball too much.

    Bosh is too soft.

They just got worked by Granger and Rush.

No one is even arguing who the leader of this team is. You're just being annoying by trying to belittle Wade in every post

With every loss, the hype in this thread gets funnier and funnier.

Props to those who didn't get fooled by the Hype Machine.

I guess the Heat aren't going 76-6.

trade dwade for mo williams and get lebron some help already.

this is like the 3rd game (both boston games and tonight) wade has played that was damn near a career worst game, with the 2nd boston game possibly actually being the worst game of his career and this maybe topping it for only scoring 3 points. he doesn't even just shoot terribly, but turns it over (at least 5 TO in all 3 games), and doesn't D up. danny granger couldn't score any time lebron was guarding him (i only watched the 2nd half to maybe it happened in the 1st) but wade is letting rush backdoor cut him for layups and going for pump fakes and everything bad you can do. he's been the common theme in 4 of their losses (these 3 and missing the memphis game) and had a big turnover in the final minute of the NO loss.

now might be time to officially worry about the heat's season. the reason people thought they could be really good was because they appeared to sign some quality depth in haslem and miller, and now both guys are out for months, leaving james jones, eddie house, and big Z to essentially be "depth." when you're throwing juwan howard and then jamaal magloire's corpse out there, things aren't going well.

now they've got these injuries to deal with on top of the fact that their record already wasn't great despite their huge point differential thanks to unbelievable clutch shooting by opponents in the final minute of all their close games which hasn't enabled them to get any late wins. i really can't think of an important miss anybody has had against them. ray allen hit a very well contested 3 in the 1st boston game when the heat got within 3, ariza hit a backbreaking 3 in the NO game, millsap went crazy and the jazz pulled off the comeback of the decade, and then rudy gay hits a game winner at the buzzer. if a couple of those go their way like the 50/50 nature of close games usually does, maybe they're at a more comfortable 10-4 right now, instead of 8-6 and about to be 8-7 when orlando takes them out behind the woodshed next game. a few more indiana-type games and they're just barely treading water with a low seed. if wade or lebron get injured, we're looking at a disaster.

but what else is new, i root for UT and Texans football, and rockets and heat basketall and, except for maybe the Texans, all 4 teams have records so far below what even the worst predictions would have thought at this point in the season, it isn't even funny, and even the texans have managed to have miracle losses the last 2 games just to rub it in. the rockets and heat being 11-15 and UT/Texans being 9-12 could have made some serious money in vegas.

Wade is snake-bitten. Not only was his jumper off, his layups and drives rimmed out painfully. The Heat bench tonight was dogmeat. They should be ashamed of themselves. Complete trash.

The Pacers didn't play that well, but only 2-3 guys showed up for Miami tonight. I would hesitate to say they are quitting on Spoelstra, but the energy wasn't really there. The Heat must start playing with desperation and not act like they can take anything for granted. With their roster depleted, they can't afford to feel sorry for themselves.

Orlando will want to kick them Wednesday while they are down. But Wade loves torturing the Magic.

This team will go as far as Wade takes them. It can't be more obvious when Wade can't find his touch, LeBron can't save the team either. If LeBron is any smart, he should give up the ball and let Wade be the player maker in those nights, and the Heat will space the floor better when the two reverse the role.

    Not at all.

If LeBron has a bad game, and Wade does good, same result

Yes, judging a team like the Heat early is easy because they are obviously a flawed team.

The Heat are almost dead last in paint scoring; this is what many people were saying.

Bosh is a jump shooter, Big Z is a jump-shooter. 6'9 Joel Anthony is a Center that can't shoot or defend.

The Heat are a jump-shooting team, they live and mostly die by shooting on the perimeter.

All the chemistry in the world and Mike Miller (another jump shooter) will not make them a good Paint team. There was an article recently that "Chris Bosh is allergic to paint".

But OK, let's wait until December/January like you want. I guarantee you the Heat are not a Top 5 team. They will not be the Best Team in the East.
