"scrub teams" refer also to most of the teams in the East, for your info. Also, if you're trying to say that LA gets preferal treatment, I'd disagree; last time I checked, Stern favors star players, and what team is more star filled than the Heat??

And I'm pretty sure that LA's scheduel is infulenced greatly by the heavy usage of Staples Center, especially come spring time, which is why the Lakers has a long homestand before the year ends.

Heat and Lakers are both rolling right now...don't hate

I hope the Heat break the winning streak record as well as best record in the NBA for a regular season (winning 73 games). Then I hope they blow through the eastern playoffs, sweeping all 3 of their opponents. Then they get to the NBA Finals and are ABSOLUTELY EMBARRASSED by the Western Conference Champion (unfortunately, the Lakers). Think what happened to the undefeated Patriots team awhile back that lost to the Giants in the Super Bowl - same principle. That would make me happy. :)

Wow, are you guys watching this Miami-Utah game??!!

Crazy. Utah was done 20-something in the beginning. Now they are just not going away in the fourth.

If they win, it'll be epic.

Millsap playing completely NUTS. Not only blew away his career highs, hit 3 clutch threes in the 4th. Made 1 this whole season before this.

Unfortunately, D-Will just fouled out on a really unfortunate foul, so the last posession/overtime is going to be very prayerful for Utah.

Totally amazing game. Respect to the j*zz. (yuck, let me go wash my keyboard after typing that)

Miami won't go anywhere if they don't start getting more easy baskets. Waaaay too many contested shots.

Many good teams started not so hot. A few years ago when Dallas won 67, they started 0-4. Of course, that season didn't end too well for them :)

Y'know, Miami's problems are just getting started.

Chris Bosh is going to wake up one of these days and realize he's NOT going to be an All Star.

I believe Chris Bosh is honestly more into fame than money.

More than playing 3rd fiddle, I don't think he'll be able to handle not being an All Star as long as he plays in Miami.

It's all fine and dandy for Lebron & Wade since the fans will vote them as starters. But Amare will get the popular vote at Power Forward and the coaches aren't going to bring in Bosh with his mediocre stats.

Last year is quite possibly his last All Star appearance and I don't think Bosh will be happy with that.

Correction: I put "Power Forward spot"...meant just the "Forward spot" as it's not differentiated on the ballot.

what other power forward from the east do you see tipping out bosh for the 2nd spot? KG? but that would only be for a year or 2, then?

Gerald Wallace, Carlos Boozer(when healthy). and even Josh Smith is more deserving.

Very good point. Bosh is already feeling the pressure and unable to handle it right now. This is what we saw coming- Bosh and Lebron are simply not of the same character as Garnett and Allen that allowed them to work in a big three. Now Lebron will get by unless they exit the playoff 2-3 years in a row because his individual stats will excite him- then he'll start to crack. But Bosh? We're 6 games in and he's already having little b**** sessions about his role on the team.

How can you say Boozer is more deserving when you have yet to see him play this year.
